Alchemy CATALYST: Developer/Pro EditionIn addition to all the functionality and experts available with the Alchemy CATALYST: Localizer Edition, the Developer/Pro Edition includes an additional expert called the QuickShip Expert. This revolutionary feature allows the developer or localizer to bundle all necessary TTK's, glossary files, along with users instructions into a compressed, self extracting, executable file. This file may then be sent to a translator, ideally electronically. Within this file the QuickShip Expert also performs a few tricks that make life much easier for the translator. Firstly it extracts all the constituent files and displays any instructions attached, next it attaches any glossary files to the translator's version of Alchemy CATALYST Translator/Lite and finally it launches CATALYST Translator/Lite if present on the user's system, if not, it will attempt to launch a browser pointing to the Alchemy Web site., where it can be downloaded. |
